Living with guides

In the summer of 2006 a lovely thing happened – Michael and I became a couple. In the autumn of 2006 an unexpected thing happened – the relationship started to get rather crowded!

In the twenty two years prior to this, Michael had worked as a medium in a variety of capacities… personal readings, services at spiritualist churches, CDs, lectures, workshops, a book… and he was spiritually exhausted. At this point he assumed that his work for the higher side of life was drawing to a close as it was leaving him increasingly tired and he felt he had nothing more to offer in the way of spiritual teaching.

Much to Michael’s surprise, as soon as we became a couple, the available energies for him to do the spiritual work just seemed to double overnight. Even more surprisingly his guides – those kind, patient, evolved souls who had worked so hard with him for so long – suddenly came into sharp focus and frequently turned up to speak to Michael. Whereas previously they had seemed to operate mostly behind the scenes, they now took centre stage and had a great deal to say about their past lives, about our lives on Earth, and about the way things really are… here, in the spirit realms and with God.

Communication began to come through at the oddest and often most inconvenient of times – such as mealtimes, during television, when we are in the car or walking the dog and even sometimes in bed. The guides seem to choose to speak when Michael is at his most relaxed – and sadly that is often just at the point when he would like to tuck into his dinner! Holiday-time appears to be another favourite as we are bombarded with lectures whenever we go away. At first I used to frantically try scribble their words down on paper or attempt to recall it from memory but  we very quickly came to recognise the merits of a digital recorder, which we now take everywhere with us to ensure that nothing is lost.

A couple of years before I got together with my other half, a clairvoyant had told me that a Chinese scribe would shortly be joining me as a guide as I had a lot of writing to do on behalf of the spirit realms and he would help me in that task. At the time I dismissed this as highly unlikely because, although I had been deeply interested in spiritual matters since my mid-twenties, I could not envisage how on earth that could ever come about. Well, I was certainly proved wrong because so much of my time is now spent transcribing the teachings from the guides for the books and website. There is so much the guides want to say – a seemingly endless stream of information - for the good of all.

And that’s what this website is all about. We hope you will enjoy it and be inspired by the beautiful teachings from our guides - many of whom we have come to regard as family.
